Okay, so technically they’re not steroids, they’re “A natural herbal Peggit approved performance enhancer”, and for Android users they’re available to buy today via in-app purchase! Once purchased, visit the settings menu to enable/disable the performance enhancer, then race! Your running speed will be doubled, propelling you ever upwards to the top of the leaderboard. And in other news, the Android update brings a new event as promised: Long Jump. Same rules as before: run as fast as you can to the sand pit and when prompted hit the jump button. Instead of measuring your speed, your score will be measured in metres jumped - based of course on how fast you ran. You’ll also notice that “My Peggit Friends” no longer has its own menu item. You’ll find this under the Settings menu which has been tabbed accordingly.

If you’re on Windows Phone or an iPhone, fear not. This update will be heading your way very soon too, with the exception of any in-app purchase options for Windows Phones at the moment due to restrictions on that platform.

Wow, that was a rush of downloads! I’m afraid though we’re back to normal on the iPhone and Windows Phone, but if you’re on Android then that version shall remain free.
